About Us
Bayside Soft Play Hire is a small family business run by two local Redland residents, Tim and Emma. The idea for Bayside Soft Play Hire begun in March 2021 while Emma was looking to hire some soft play equipment for her daughter's first birthday. She found that there were no quality local business that hired out the equipment. Emma was on maternity leave and Tim had been made redundant from his job so they took that as a sign to start their own business adventure.
Tim and Emma have a young child themselves and Emma has a background in Early Childhood and Primary Education. This knowledge and experience was paramount to choosing how they wanted to run the business, with safety, fun and learning their key values. All the equipment has been chosen to meet Australian safety standards, including the soft fall mats, that have a fall rating of 1.4m and have been tested to meet AS/NZS 4422:2016 standards. The balls pits and soft play climbing equipment were specifically chosen to be developmentally appropriate and challenging for a range of ages. Safety is also a top priority when it comes to cleaning the equipment. All equipment is cleaned and disinfected between hire and disinfected again after set up to prevent cross-contamination.
After a long few months of planning and sourcing the equipment, Tim and Emma are very excited to share their passion with others and look forward to helping you create fun for your little, loved ones.
